Mill Creek sold Modera Vinings in January 2020. Located along Cumberland Boulevard in the northwest portion of the city, an urban area undergoing immense growth and expansion, the mixed-use Modera Vinings featured 269 apartment homes, and was a part of the Cumberland Improvement District of Cobb County.

Modera Vinings featured six stories atop 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and a below-grade parking garage. The community offered one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes above 3.5 acres of land overlooking a pond.  Located at the start of the multi-use Silver Comet Trail, with access along the boardwalk surrounding the pond, the community featured an active promenade and beautifully designed event and restaurant space overlooking the water. Community amenities included a courtyard, outdoor swimming pool, 24-hour fitness studio, clubhouse and business center. Located just to the southwest of Interstates 285 and 75, Modera Vinings also featured expedient access to Northside Parkway, Cumberland Parkway and the Cobb Community Transit public transportation system.

Modera Vinings benefited from a prime location with convenient access to an array of the area’s key business, dining and entertainment districts. The community sat 1.5 miles from a $1 billion mixed-use development that will feature SunTrust Park, the Atlanta Braves’ new stadium, as the centerpiece. Th development will also feature a 260-room Omni Hotel & Resorts and an impressive lineup of restaurants, including Antico Pizza, Cru Food and Wine Bar and a steakhouse concept from James Beard Award-winning chef/owner Linton Hopkins, the man behind the iconic Holeman and Finch burger.
