Mill Creek sold Modera Uptown in December of 2017. Modera Uptown was a 179-apartment, six-story podium community. The apartment community incorporated five stories of wood frame construction on top of a one-story concrete podium with two levels of subterranean parking. Home interiors included pantries, king-sized bedrooms, 42-inch custom cabinetry, expansive closets, programable thermostats, quartz countertops, built-in storage in bedroom, upgraded fictures, pendant lighting, stainless steel and energy efficent appliances, linen closet, cabinetry in the bathroom, electric range stove, USB ports in kitchen, wired for flat screen TVs, tile backsplash, separate dining area with breakfast bar, wood plank-style flooring, double vanities, granite countertops in bathrooms, ceiling fans and nine- and ten-foot ceilings. Select homes offered private balconies with city views.

The community was located across the street from Cole Park, a popular park for Uptown residents. Access to the Katy Trail, Dallas’ most popular hike and bike trail was only three blocks west of the community (Katy Trail extends 3.5 miles from the American Airlines Center in the Victory District up to Glencoe Park near SMU.).
