Mill Creek Residential sold Alister Isles in December of 2021. Mill Creek Residential added to its south Florida presence with the August 2018 acquisition of Aqua Isles, a townhome-style apartment community featuring magnificent water views and boat slips in Dania Beach, Florida. The green-certified community was located just north of Griffin Road on 39^th Way, and was within seven miles of Florida’s east coast and about eight miles southwest of Fort Lauderdale.

Built in 2012, Aqua Isles featured 127 spacious homes spread amongst 17 buildings. The community was flanked by a waterway to the north and west, allowing residents the opportunity to dock their boats and access the ocean. The commuter-friendly locale offered prime accessibility to the key job and entertainment centers in south Florida, including Miami, Palm Beach and Broward County.

Conveniently located near Interstate 595, Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike, Aqua Isles included expansive two- and three-bedroom homes with an average size of 1,421 square feet. Community amenities at the community included a swimming pool, fitness center, clubhouse, package acceptance, green-building recognition and controlled access.

Apartment interiors included granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring, Juliette balconies, 9-foot ceilings and in-home washers and dryers. Select homes included pool views, courtyard views and dock views, and residents had the option to rent a dock slip.

Aqua Isles was Mill Creek Residential’s second acquisition in the South Florida area.
