Mill Creek sold Alister Nanuet in December of 2021. Alister Nanuet was a garden-style apartment community located amidst one of Rockland County’s most convenient and commuter-friendly locales.

Situated near the intersection of Interstate 287, Garden State Parkway and Palisades Parkway, Alister Nanuet offered 504 apartment homes which included one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. Homes featured a spacious average square footage of 1,208 and the upgraded homes included a stainless steel appliance package, wood plank-style flooring, nine-foot ceilings, under-cabinet lighting, granite countertops, undermount sinks, updated kitchen and bathroom sink faucets, tile backsplashes, spacious walk-in closets, modernized bathroom hardware, and upgraded showerheads.

Community amenities included an outdoor swimming pool, sundeck, grilling area, clubhouse with fireside lounge, pet park, fitness studio with kickboxing equipment, indoor and outdoor sports court, indoor racquetball court and a playground.

Situated at 100 Avalon Gardens Drive, Alister Nanuet featured a lush green backdrop and was within a short drive of the Nanuet train station, which provided access to the greater Manhattan area. The community was also surrounded by an abundance of convenience retail (including Costco, Target and Apple), a high-performing school district and major employment corridors in Westchester and Bergen counties.

The Hudson Valley locale also offered an abundance of recreational opportunities not as readily available in more densely populated areas, which included various state parks, hiking trails and access to water-based activities.
