Mill Creek Residential sold Eastside Station in April 2022. Eastside Station was a contemporary apartment community located in a highly walkable East Austin locale minutes from the city’s Central Business District.

Situated at 1700 East 4^th Street, the community possessed a Walk Score of 91—considered a walker’s paradise—amidst the vibrant Plaza Saltillo neighborhood, which offers a multitude of retail, dining, and entertainment options.

Originally constructed in 2016, Eastside Station offered 330 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartment homes with an average size of 775 square feet. Home interiors included stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, walk-in closets, in-home washers and dryers, and private balconies. Mill Creek performed mild renovations to home interiors, including the addition of wood plank-style flooring, Nest^® thermostats, tile backsplashes, under-cabinet lighting, and backlit bathroom mirrors.

Community amenities included a swimming pool, rooftop lounge, outdoor grill area, fire pit, clubhouse, business center, and game room. Residents also had access to onsite maintenance, bike storage, and a private parking deck. The community sat less than a mile from Interstate 35, one of the state’s primary north-south thoroughfares.

The pet-friendly community was situated amongst an East Austin locale that has rapidly become a hub for new Class-A office space. Google, Oracle, and Ernst & Young are among the high-profile employers in the area.
