Mill Creek sold Modera Cornerstone in December of 2021. Modera Cornerstone was a hospitality-inspired apartment community located in Plantation, Florida – an economically vibrant suburb of Fort Lauderdale – adjacent to Pine Island Road just north of Interstate 595. The pet-friendly community featured 330 apartment homes and was within the 58-acre Class A business campus of Cornerstone Corporate Center.

Modera Cornerstone included one-, two- and three-bedroom homes ranging in size from 657 to 1,384 square feet with den layouts available. Community amenities included an outdoor pool, club-quality fitness center with yoga/Pilates studio, expansive clubhouse, self-serve package lockers, controlled-access garage parking, on site dog park and pet spa, free WiFi in social zones, pool table, outdoor lakeside patio, courtyard putting green, barbeque area, business center, and coffee bar.

Apartment interiors included wood plank-style flooring, nine-foot ceilings, stainless Energy Star® appliances, quartz countertops with tile backsplashes, USB ports, full-size washers and dryers, keyless home entry,  and private patios or balconies, which featured lake, city or green space views. Select units had a separate dining area, pantry, breakfast bar, linen closet, and an alarm system. Residents also had access to valet dry-cleaning, additional storage, and dedicated bike storage.
