In October 2020, Mill Creek sold Modera Metro Mineola, a luxury apartment community located in central Nassau County, N.Y. The residential development, based on Long Island in the village of Mineola, included 192 apartment homes across two four-story podium buildings.

Modera Metro Mineola, designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, featured studio, one- and two-bedroom homes with an average size of approximately 950 square feet with den and loft layouts available. The community’s expansive amenity package was highlighted by two fourth-floor rooftop decks serving as social activation zones with an outdoor billiards table, flat-screen television, and ample lounge seating. Each building featured a landscaped courtyard – a resort-inspired pool and sundeck, outdoor fireplace and lounge occupy the south courtyard, while the north boasts a state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen and dining area. Both spaces are accessible to residents of either building.

The apartment homes at Modera Metro Mineola featured wood-style vinyl plank flooring in living areas and bathrooms, carpeted bedrooms and walk-in closets, quartz countertops, stainless Energy Star® appliances, tiled kitchen backsplashes, tiled tub and shower surrounds, semi-frameless shower door surrounds, framed vanity mirrors, 9-foot ceilings, key fob systems, ceramic tile entryways, chef islands, soft-closing doors and drawers, 42-inch cabinetry, pendant lighting, USB ports, built-in storage and shelving and full-size front-load laundry appliances. Select premium homes offered enhanced features such as under-cabinet lighting, upgraded fixtures and kitchen appliances, wood-style vinyl-plank flooring throughout with sound mat in bedrooms, white high-gloss cabinets with soft-closing slab doors, upgraded kitchen backsplashes and shower accent tile, backlit vanity mirrors, accent wall paint and private balconies.
