Alan Kolar serves as President of Capital Markets and Investment Management for Mill Creek Residential with company-wide responsibility for capital markets, investment management, finance and portfolio management. Mr. Kolar is a founding partner of Mill Creek and serves on the Investment Committee, Management Committee and Valuation Committee.

Prior to his position as President of Capital Markets and Investment Management, Mr. Kolar held a variety of positions at Mill Creek and Trammell Crow Residential over a 23-year period. This included Chief Financial Officer, Executive Managing Director of Capital Markets, Senior Managing Director of the North Florida and Southeast Divisions, Chief Financial Officer of the Southeast Region, and, Vice President of Accommodations America – Trammell Crow Residential’s extended stay housing division. Mr. Kolar has held previous positions with Security Capital Industrial in Atlanta, Georgia and SouthTrust Bank in Tampa, Florida.

Mr. Kolar received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Florida. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), an Advisory Board Member of the Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Florida, a member of the Finance Committee of NMHC, Chair of the Real Estate Committee of Lift Orlando, Inc. and an Elder at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.
