Brent Elkins serves as Executive Managing Director of Investment Management at Mill Creek. The Investment Management Team is responsible for raising institutional equity across commingled funds, separately managed accounts and other programmatic ventures that support Mill Creek’s strategies of multifamily development, acquisitions and build-to-rent single-family rental development.

Before joining Mill Creek, Mr. Elkins was head of real estate capital partnerships at Avenue One, where he structured customized residential investment programs for institutional partners. Over the prior 15 years, he led global capital formation across three prominent real estate investment platforms: Beacon Capital Partners, BlackRock Real Estate, and Colony Capital (now DigitalBridge).

Earlier in his career, Mr. Elkins held senior roles in principal investing and investment banking at Morgan Stanley and served as an acquisition officer and portfolio manager at AMB (now Prologis). He began his real estate career at Trammell Crow Company in 1990.

Mr. Elkins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
