Chris Copeland serves as Managing Director of Investment Management and is a member of the Audit and Administrative Committee. He manages account portfolios and sources programmatic investment capital for the development and acquisition pipelines.  Mr. Copeland also designs and addresses the financial modeling that facilitates asset-level investment underwriting while incorporating the analysis and strategy needed for portfolio forecasting and reporting. 

Since joining Mill Creek in 2013, Mr. Copeland has worked within Corporate and Joint Venture Finance, creating financial model platforms and evaluating venture term sheets. He has also participated in venture document negotiations in support of corporate recapitalization and joint venture transactions.  During this time, he has worked extensively alongside the Development, Acquisitions, Accounting, and Asset Management departments to implement streamlined processes.

Before joining Mill Creek, Mr. Copeland was the Director of Market Research and Data Analytics at Serten Advisors, a tenant representative firm acquired by Colliers International.  Before this, Mr. Copeland worked for Technology and Supply Management LLC and VSE Corporation as a Financial Analyst responsible for business development and supply chain management of global defense logistics operations. 

Mr. Copeland holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Vanderbilt University.
