David Castillejos

David Castillejos serves as Vice President of Portfolio Management for Mill Creek Residential. In this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of select separately managed accounts, which includes executing portfolio strategy, tracking performance, investor communications, and reporting.

Prior to joining Mill Creek, Mr. Castillejos was a Vice President of Portfolio Management for SEC-registered investment advisor, L&B Realty Advisors. Over his 13-year tenure with L&B, Mr. Castillejos managed several institutional separate accounts formulating and implementing investment strategy for assets totaling $1.2 billion in value. Prior to joining L&B, Mr. Castillejos held several positions with KeyBank Real Estate Capital and ORIX Capital Markets within the CMBS platforms, where he was responsible for underwriting securitized debt transactions and managing a loan portfolio within a master servicing portfolio of $100 billion.

Mr. Castillejos received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Master of Science in Finance from Southern Methodist University – Cox School of Business.
