James Rust

James Rust serves as Vice President of Portfolio Management for Mill Creek. In this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of select portfolios, including investor communications, project/portfolio underwriting and analysis, internal and external reporting, market research, and engaging with various internal and external parties to execute strategy and maximize portfolio performance.

Prior to Mill Creek, Mr. Rust was Vice President of Portfolio Management at Tonti Properties, where he spent 7 years working in various capacities, including acquisitions, development, asset management, and capital markets. Additionally, he has held roles in capital markets and asset management at Lincoln Property Company, Hudson Advisors, and L&B Realty Advisors.

Mr. Rust received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
