Nick Halstead serves as Managing Director of Development in Colorado. Before relocating to Colorado, he served as Vice President of Development in the New York and New Jersey market for Mill Creek.  Mr. Halstead has more than ten years of experience in real estate development. He has been involved in the development, entitlement, and construction of over 1,000 multifamily homes throughout New York and New Jersey. His responsibilities include managing all aspects of the development process, from site acquisition through design, entitlements, financing, construction, leasing, and disposition of assets.

Before joining Mill Creek, Mr. Halstead was a Vice President in the Real Estate Transactions group at the New York City Economic Development Organization and a Policy Advisor in the New York City Office of the Mayor. He has also worked as a real estate development consultant for RCLCO and has facilitated investment sales transactions for CB Richard Ellis. His experience includes multifamily new construction, development consulting and market analysis, public-private partnerships, and economic development.

Mr. Halstead holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development degree from Columbia University.
