Peter Lyons is the Vice President of Corporate Accounting and Treasury Services for Mill Creek Residential. His team is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, corporate and construction accounting, and treasury and cash management.

Prior to joining Mill Creek, Mr. Lyons led a fintech company through an IPO as VP of Finance and Treasury. Prior to this, Mr. Lyons spent six years in energy at NextEra Energy as Director of Financial Reporting and Special Projects where he was instrumental in the spin-off of a public YieldCo, NextEra Energy Partners. Mr. Lyons began his career in financial services having worked in various capacities for INTECH Investment Management where he obtained the title of Director of Finance and Accounting.

Mr. Lyons is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Black Belt in Six Sigma. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst. Additionally, he has two bachelor’s degrees with a concentration in finance and accounting from the University of Central Florida and Baker College, respectively.
