Ryan Guthrie serves as the Senior Managing Director of Mill Creek’s Los Angeles office, and his responsibilities include the entire scope of development activities including sourcing, planning, entitling, designing, and overseeing the development of the Mill Creek multifamily communities in the Los Angeles region. During his career, Mr. Guthrie has been involved with the acquisition, entitlement, financing, and development of over $1.4 billion of multi-family and mixed-use real estate.

Prior to joining Mill Creek, Mr. Guthrie was a Senior Development Director at Holland Partner Group, developing high density mixed-use, communities throughout the Los Angeles region. Prior to assuming that role, he was a Project Manager with Holland Construction. Here, he focused on the design-build project management of mixed-use podium product in the urban core of Los Angeles. Prior to joining Holland, he owned and operated a small business that designed, built, and maintained residential landscapes.

Mr. Guthrie received a Bachelor of Science Degree from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo in Construction Management and has a California State Class B – general contractor’s license.

Mr. Guthrie is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and Cal Poly’s Construction Management Advisory Council (CMAC). He has also served on various non-profit boards and committees throughout his community, including the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce, the San Pedro Business Improvement District and the White Point Nature Preserve.
