Sam Griffin serves as Vice President of Land Acquisition for the Southwest Region of Single-Family Rentals. Prior to his role at Mill Creek, Mr. Griffin served as Vice President of Land Acquisition for Gehan Homes, where he covered the Phoenix metro market. He was responsible for deal sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, entitlements, horizontal development, product development, dispositions, managed land banking relationships, and all other aspects of land/lot development.

Prior to his role at Gehan Homes, Mr. Griffin served as Vice President of Land Acquisition for KB Home in the Phoenix metro market. Previously, he was Land Acquisition Director at K Hovnanian Homes. There, he created and led K Hovnanian’s state land acquisition program. His previous experience also includes custom home community development as well as municipal engineering and planning work.

Mr. Griffin received his Bachelor of Science in Business from The University of Phoenix. Mr. Griffin is also a licensed realtor and holds a KB-1 Commercial/Residential General Contractor’s license in Arizona.
