Sam Griffin

Sam Griffin serves as President of West Single-Family Rental. Prior to his role at Mill Creek, Mr. Griffin served as Vice President of Land Acquisition for Gehan Homes, where he covered the Phoenix metro market. He was responsible for deal sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, entitlements, horizontal development, product development, dispositions, managed land banking relationships, and all other aspects of land/lot development.

Prior to his role at Gehan Homes, Mr. Griffin served as Vice President of Land Acquisition for KB Home in the Phoenix and Tucson markets and as a Land Acquisition Director at K Hovnanian Homes. His background also includes experience in home community development as well as municipal engineering and planning work.

Mr. Griffin received his Bachelor of Science in Business from The University of Phoenix. Mr. Griffin holds his broker’s license and a KB-1 Commercial/Residential General Contractor’s license in Arizona.
