John Colletti

John Colletti serves as Senior Managing Director of Development for Southern California and Utah, where he leads the firm’s development activities in the San Diego, Inland Empire, and Salt Lake City metro areas. His responsibilities include managing all aspects of the development process, including site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, design, financing, and dispositions for Mill Creek communities. Mr. Colletti has been directly involved in the development of over $2 billion of multifamily assets in Southern California over his 20-year real estate career.

Prior to opening Mill Creek’s San Diego Office in 2020, Mr. Colletti served as Vice President in the company’s Orange County office, where he was responsible for the identification and development of several communities throughout Southern California. Prior to joining Mill Creek in 2018, Mr. Colletti managed the acquisition and development processes for Lennar Multifamily Communities and The Picerne Group in Newport Beach, CA.

Mr. Colletti graduated from the Eller College of Business at the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Finance and attended post-graduate school at the University of Westminster in London, UK. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and National Multifamily Housing Council.
