Dan Copeland serves as Senior Vice President of Property Management for Mill Creek Residential and is a member of the Audit and Administrative Committee. Mr. Copeland joined Mill Creek in 2015, and served as the Vice President of Property Operations for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Mr. Copeland currently oversees the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast operations, managing the team and communities in each of these markets. Throughout his career, Mr. Copeland has operated multiple types of developments including garden, high-rise, historical redevelopments, and loft renovations in multiple markets, spanning the country.

Prior to joining Mill Creek, Mr. Copeland worked with Monogram Residential Trust, formerly Behringer Harvard Residential, to build the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic divisions. Prior to this, Mr. Copeland was a Regional Manager with both Riverstone Residential Group and JPI. Mr. Copeland specializes in pre-development and lease-up communities, having overseen more than fifty of these during his tenure.

Mr. Copeland graduated from the University of Cincinnati and has worked in the multifamily industry since 1999.
