Mill Creek Announces Restaurant Partners at Modera by Mill Creek – Sandy Springs

Two Restaurants to Debut at Sandy Springs Apartment Community in Late 2017

 

ATLANTA – May 17, 2017 – Mill Creek Residential today announced that it has partnered with The Local Pizzaiolo, an authentic Neapolitan pizzeria, and Casi Cielo, a new, upscale Mexican concept from La Parilla Mexican Restaurants, to join the retail landscape at Modera by Mill Creek – Sandy Springs, a dynamic mixed-use community set to open later this year. The two new restaurant concepts are slated to open within the community in late 2017.

Located at 6125 Roswell Road, Modera by Mill Creek – Sandy Springs consists of 313 spacious apartment homes and more than 25,000 square feet of high-end retail and restaurant space in the heart of the quickly evolving neighborhood. The community and its forthcoming retail and restaurant partners will complement the vision of City Springs, the nearby community-centric district bringing a performing arts center, family theatre, park, multi-tenant retail space and more to the area.

The Local Pizzaiolo is opening four locations across Atlanta, each of which will feature a “local pizzaiolo” – a pizza chef that helps guests without skipping a beat while slapping dough – that are specially trained by four-time World Neapolitan Pizza Making Champion and master pizzaiolo Giulio Adriani.  In addition to hand-crafted pizzas, the restaurant will also feature craft-kegged cocktails and other Italian specialties. For those looking to take some of the flavor home, The Local Pizzaiolo at Modera by Mill Creek – Sandy Springs will house an authentic Italian marketplace, providing guests access to gourmet Italian ingredients such as olive oil from Adriani’s family garden, tomatoes from the Napoli countryside and truffle honey.

Also opening within the forthcoming community is a new, upscale concept from the team behind La Parilla Mexican Restaurants, Casi Cielo. Spanish for “almost heaven,” Casi Cielo will feature a wide selection of traditional Mexican dishes, highlighting the fresh ingredients and classic cuisines of Mexico’s diverse regions. The menu will include a variety of shared plates, tacos and enchiladas, along with the restaurant’s signature arroz al carbon, a large plate of rice cooked on a charcoal oven and paired with meats and vegetables. Casi Cielo will also present a variety of handcrafted cocktails with a focus on the versatility of mezcal.
