ATLANTA – Oct. 27, 2015 – Mill Creek Residential, a leading multifamily investor and operator specializing in premier apartment communities across the U.S., today announced the start of move-ins at Modera Morningside, a newly developed mixed-use community in Atlanta.
Modera Morningside, which features 300 luxury apartment homes, is located at 1845 Piedmont Avenue NE in the affluent and growing Morningside neighborhood within minutes of Midtown Atlanta. The community includes an onsite Sprouts Farmers Market, a 26,755-square-foot organic grocery store, the centerpiece of 32,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
“We’re thrilled that our first wave of residents can now move in and begin enjoying the advantages of the area and the amenities of the community,” said Dionne Van Druff, vice president of operations for Mill Creek Residential. “We firmly believe the timing is impeccable to add needed Class-A housing to a booming, increasingly vibrant area that is rapidly becoming one of the most sought-after destinations in the city.”
Modera Morningside consists of studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartment homes, and those signing a 12-month residential lease will receive one free month. The five-story, wood-framed community is flanked by an adjacent parking structure. The Midtown, Buckhead and Downtown districts are all within three minutes, offering residents expedient access to 250,000 professional jobs in the area.
In addition to offering a walkable living experience with on-site shopping, Modera Morningside features a unique set of high-end amenities not available anywhere else in Atlanta. The community’s fitness center includes a Yoga studio and a juice bar for the growing number of residents looking to live a more complete healthy lifestyle. Modera Morningside’s sky lounge located on the top floor hosts a demo kitchen designed to make it easy for foodies to entertain friends and family. Finally, the community also sports three courtyards and a resort-style pool with outdoor cabanas. Inside the apartment homes, residents will enjoy high-end features, including wood-plank style flooring, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry and large walk-in closets.
Among the nearby neighborhood amenities within a short drive of the community are a host of local restaurants and retailers, and the Lindbergh Marta Rail Station, which provides easy access to all major hubs, including Midtown, Downtown and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Atlanta’s Beltline is within biking distance, as are an abundance of scenic hiking trails.
Also in close proximity to the community are Virginia Highlands, Lenox Square, Phipps Plaza and Atlantic Station. In addition to hosting a number of outdoor sports facilities, 189-acre Piedmont Park offers an off-leash dog park, picnic areas, walking and running paths and the Family Aquatic Center.
